The San Francisco Rescued Orphan
Mammal Program (SF/ROMP)

This outstanding nonprofit, founded and headed by Jamie Ray, is the primary contact for both the public and San Francisco Animal Care and Control personnel regarding inquiries about wildlife in San Francisco, rehabilitating injured or orphaned wildlife, returning healthy wildlife to their native habitat, and educating the public about safe cohabitation with the critters who live among us. SF/ROMP is the first recipient of a grant from The Animal Union.
